Sue Newberry
Managing Director
Sue is the Managing Director of The Woohoo Co., otherwise known as Chief Story Teller. She has experience in national management, supported through an extensive range of education and training in human resource related fields. Sue has demonstrated executive presence, integrity and collaboration through senior leadership roles, paired with a strong history of influencing leaders to develop organisational capability and drive positive behavioural change.
Sue brings a wide variety of skills to the business through experience working with finance, distribution, manufacturing, health and information communication technology (ICT) sectors. Sue is a genuine leader and a builder of effective teams that connect people to a common business goal, helping them flourish.
Passionate about making a difference to the lives of people, Sue takes a unique and personalised approach to every interaction. She is proactive and passionate when it comes to helping people help themselves, so they and the organisation both benefit.
Fun fact: Sue loves theatre and, will make sure you’ll laugh at least three times before the meetings over.
Rebecca Jaensch
Director
Rebecca is a Director of The Woohoo Co., otherwise known as Chief Instigator. She has experience in Human Resources Generalist roles within national corporate organisations, operating in Australia and the United Kingdom. Throughout her extensive experience Rebecca has worked in both operational and managerial positions, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of business functions.
Over her successful and rewarding career, Rebecca has helped others flourish and achieve their goals. The broad skill set of Rebecca encompasses the discipline of human resources, including profiling, interviewing skills, and a collaborative HR Business partner with organisations, including senior leaders and HR teams. She is a true team collaborator and leads by example, ensuring accountability while professionally and personally delivering on business outcomes.
Rebecca is best known for her professionalism, hard work and dedication to people, while her authenticity, laughter and vibrancy is not easily matched.
Fun fact: Rebecca loves food and running, she’s is serious about her work, but importantly not taking herself too seriously all the time.
Melissa Taylor
Finance Director
Melissa is the Finance Director at The Woohoo Co., otherwise known as Chief Number Cruncher. Her vast accounting experience in both operational and managerial roles has developed through accounting practices, finance management in large Australian organisations and hedge fund accounting in the United Kingdom. Melissa’s experience in the finance industry has allowed her to work closely with clients, ensuring business needs and statutory compliance is met, while being proactive in addressing any potential risks before they arise.
Melissa is an expert in business processing, including bookkeeping, developing management reports and payroll. She continues to help other businesses establish compliance with statutory requirements and correctly remunerate their most important asset, their people. Process orientated, Melissa has an eye for detail, providing accurate and timely information, enabling business owners to concentrate on growing their business.
Melissa’s honest, caring and professional nature shines through in all dealings with clients and associates.
Fun fact: Melissa is cooking up something delicious when she’s not crunching numbers.
Ross Chiswell
ICT Services and Strategic Business Development
Ross Chiswell is a dynamic leader with a passion for driving innovation and fostering growth. With over 30 years of experience in various roles, Ross has honed his skills in strategic planning, team leadership, and business development. His journey has seen him excel in multiple capacities, earning three prestigious awards and even naming a division.
Ross's expertise spans across national and international markets, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead teams to success. His strategic mindset and collaborative approach have made him a trusted partner in achieving organisational goals. Ross is known for his integrity, dedication, and the ability to inspire those around him.
Fun Fact: When he's not leading teams to success, Ross enjoys unwinding with a good board game or crafting his own wine. His love for these hobbies reflects his strategic thinking and creativity, both in and out of the workplace.
